A practical search sequence: cover the area efficiently, isolate anomalies, then move in close enough to identify and document the target.

Our sonar is towed behind the vessel to search for lost items, wrecks, bottom features, and other targets. Anomalies can then be investigated with an inspection-class R.O.V.; in shallow water, a diver can provide direct identification.

The system includes a Marine Sonic HDS dual-frequency towfish. Lower frequency supports broad search coverage, while higher frequency helps resolve details on selected contacts.

Search plans can combine sonar, magnetic survey, R.O.V. observation, drop camera, and diver confirmation based on water depth, visibility, target material, and the level of proof required.

Commercial divers, engineers, inspectors, yacht brokers, and project teams need more than transportation. They need a stable platform and crew that understands the work.

The company has supported long-duration underwater projects in remote Alaskan locations, operating independently through difficult logistics. It has also worked in Seattle-area lakes and Hood Canal around sensitive infrastructure and complex floating bridges.

Towing & salvage

Controlled power for disabled, stranded, and sunken vessels.

The company has towed several hundred disabled vessels since 1996 and cites successful assistance for vessels up to 150 feet and 200 tons.

CASCADE's towing configuration includes a hydraulic windlass, long high-strength tow lines, twin 405 hp diesels, substantial lateral bollard pull, engineered rigging, and a work deck built around safe handling.

For submerged casualties, the crew maintains a large lift-bag inventory and can develop the underwater picture with sonar, R.O.V., drop camera, or divers before committing to a recovery plan.
